Ammonia as a fuel

Ammonia has a clear advantage over Hydrogen as a fuel for shipping and creating electricity. As an energy carrier, its able to be transported under manageable pressures, with high density and is well known

Australian research into creating ammonia demonstrates that ammonia is clearly the front runner in providing a green fuel of the future.

Below demonstrates the potential for ammonia to be created and consumed in a much more efficient manner than the current carbon based economy. What is more, the technology can be used in an asynchronous manner, meaning the input cost of electricity will be significantly reduced compared to Haber Bosch.

Below are 3 diagrams that describe how the ammonia lifecycle as a fuel can work and how it is superior to many other fuels from a transport, consumption and environmental perspective.
